American country music singer/songwriter Sarah Darling will return to the UK’s Total Country TV show on September 7th for her Downtown Throwdown countdown.
The programme will see the Iowa native counting down a selection of her favourite party country hits as she returns to the channel for the second time this year.
The news comes just two weeks before Darling returns to the UK for her appearance on BBC One’s BBC Breakfast on September 10th ahead of her taking to the stage at the inaugural The British Country Music Festival at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens on September 13th.
Since the Nashville based artist started touring across Britain five years ago she has cemented her status as an adopted Brit as UK country music fans have taken the sweet performer to their hearts.
Her honoury British status has been confirmed this past twelve months as her latest record ‘Wonderland’ topped the Official UK Top 20 Country Album Chart back in June, she is also up for two awards at the 2019 British Country Music Association Awards for International Album of the year and International Touring Act.
Sarah Darling will also be the only non UK artist headlining The British Country Music Festival in Blackpool where record makers Ward Thomas and Irish talent Catherine McGrath will also headline across the weekend for what promises to be a wonderful celebration of the immense talent within the ever-growing British country music scene.
The performer announced the Total Country TV news this afternoon (Saturday, August 30th) via her Instagram story.
Make sure you’re tuned into the programme next week from 6pm for two hours of classic and modern party country music hits as the singer picks out her all time favourites.
