Love and auction battles go hand in hand.

Over the past weekend, Kim Kardashian garnered $247,200 for the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles by auctioning 24 costume lots from her Hulu legal drama “All’s Fair.” The auction, which lasted three days, took place on Kardashian Kloset, a resale platform where the Kardashian family sells items from their personal wardrobes.

Out of the available lots, fourteen were sold, with two particular designer ensembles contributing the most to the total raised.

A distinctive vintage set from John Galliano’s Fall/Winter 1995 collection — consisting of a black angora jacket with an artistic collar and cuffs, alongside a satin maxi skirt — fetched $100,200 after receiving six bids. Kardashian had donned this outfit at the drama’s press event in Los Angeles in October 2025.

Not far behind, a set from Christian Dior, designed by Galliano for the Spring/Summer 2001 collection, brought in $100,100. This ensemble included a red Chinoiserie-print silk coat, a strapless gown with python trim, a matching clutch, and a floral hair pin. Kardashian wore this set in the second episode of the show, which features stars like Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, Teyana Taylor, Sarah Paulson, and Glenn Close.

The auction experienced a moment of chaos when seemingly fraudulent bids drove the prices up to tens of millions of dollars, with the Galliano ensemble momentarily reaching $80 million before corrections were made.

All of the net proceeds from the sale will be donated to LAFLA, an organization that offers free legal services to women in need of restraining orders, custody agreements, and other vital legal protections.

“Access to legal representation should not be determined by one’s financial status,” Kardashian stated on X when she announced the auction. “For many women, legal aid is their only pathway to obtaining a restraining order, securing a fair custody agreement, or starting anew.”

The majority of the costumes from the show were selected from Kardashian’s own closet, styled by Soki Mak to embody a theatrical version of power dressing. The attire for Grant, Kardashian’s character, included a Thierry Mugler blazer with a corseted waist featuring mesh panels, a fur-edged pink Christian Dior ensemble, a ’90s Vivienne Westwood with a peplum waist, and revealing custom suits from Boss.

Despite a starting bid of $3,500, the Mugler ensemble did not sell. However, a simpler item did sell: a standard white Boss button-down shirt in size 3XL, which Kardashian wore as an oversized dress in the series, went for $500.

Some of Grant’s more controversial outfits, such as the thong-revealing skirt suit that made headlines at the series premiere and the infamous elephant Birkin bag, were not included in the auction.

Despite a harsh critical reception and a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, “All’s Fair” marked Hulu’s largest scripted premiere in three years and has been renewed for a second season.

Since 2019, Kardashian has been working towards a law degree through a California law office study program, though she disclosed last fall that she has yet to pass the California bar exam.

“I’m not yet a lawyer, just a stylish one on TV,” she humorously remarked at that time.
