A Star-Studded Affair

Miley Cyrus recently received the prestigious honor of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. During the ceremony last Friday, she turned heads in a vintage Atelier Versace gown.

The dress, a standout piece from Donatella Versace’s Fall 2015 collection, featured intricate lace, daring cutouts, and a bodice embellished with crisscrossed metallic threads, resembling a spider’s web. This same dress made an appearance on Heidi Klum at the amfAR Gala in Milan in 2015.

Styling Details

While Heidi Klum opted for an elegant updo and long earrings to complement the dress at the Gala, Cyrus chose a more relaxed look with her hair styled in soft waves, complemented by side-swept bangs that softly framed her face.

During her acceptance speech, Cyrus expressed her excitement about her star, describing it as “laid in gold and pink terrazzo, fierce, fun, and fabulous.” She added a special note about her attire, “And I’m in Versace hand-picked from the atelier archives by Donatella herself, which makes it even more fun, and even more fierce and even more fabulous.”

Celebratory Circle

The celebration was a family and friends affair as Cyrus was accompanied by her mother, sister, and fiancé Maxx Morando. Also in attendance were her friend Anya Taylor-Joy, who dazzled in a vintage Bob Mackie outfit, and the iconic designer Donatella Versace herself.

Miley Cyrus, a 33-year-old star known for her multifaceted career, has always shown a penchant for vintage designer fashion, both in her personal style and professional appearances. Hence, her choice of dress for this significant event was in keeping with her fashion philosophy.

Cyrus has consistently advocated for sustainable fashion, famously noting on Instagram in 2019 that “Previously loved/owned clothes = most sustainable fashion source.” Over the years, she has chosen several remarkable pieces from the archives of fashion legends like Bob Mackie, Thierry Mugler, and Roberto Cavalli, among others.
