Miley Cyrus never fails to make a splash.

At the 2025 Grammys on Sunday evening, Miley Cyrus stole the spotlight, arriving in a shimmering leather gown by Saint Laurent adorned with daring cutouts that showcased her abs.

The chart-topping artist of “Flowers” sported an eye-catching hairstyle with chunky highlights reminiscent of the early 2000s, coupled with a layered cut.

Known for her bold fashion choices, the former Disney sensation turned heads at the previous year’s Grammys in a striking Maison Margiela ensemble crafted entirely from golden safety pins, which scantily clad her figure.

For the event, Cyrus styled her hair in a dynamic manner that drew comparisons to icons like Dolly Parton and Kurt Russell. She maintained this hairstyle throughout the evening, even as she switched outfits twice during the ceremony.

She received her first Grammy award wearing a dazzling sequined gown by Gucci featuring dramatic cutouts, humorously noting during her acceptance speech that she might have omitted her underwear. She also performed her hit song “Flowers” in a fringed dress designed by Bob Mackie.

Cyrus enters tonight’s event on a high note, having recently secured a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Beyoncé for their track “II Most Wanted” before the official ceremony.

Although Cyrus has been nominated eight times in the past and has won three Grammys—including Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Flowers” in 2024—she expressed her perplexity over the Recording Academy’s delayed recognition of her work. In a post-Grammys interview with W Magazine, she remarked, “No shade, but I’ve been doing this for 20 years, and this is the first time I feel like I’m being taken seriously here?”

She continued to question the standards used by the Academy, stating, “If we’re talking stats and numbers, then why was I overlooked? And if it’s about the impact on culture, then again, where was I?” She concluded, asserting, “This isn’t about arrogance. I am proud of myself.”

While there has been no official announcement regarding performance plans, fans are hopeful that Cyrus and Beyoncé will perform their award-winning song live during the ceremony.
