While on “Watch What Happens Live” with host Andy Cohen, he inquired, “Has Travis finished updating the ring from the initial concept?”
Mullen initially proposed with a bespoke ring, ensuring Kirschenheiter had the final say in the design before finalizing it.
“Yes! This is the finalized ring,” Kirschenheiter confirmed, displaying the first ring—an oval-cut, solitaire diamond that Mullen had used to propose.
“Interestingly enough, when he was first creating this, he designed two rings. I adored both, but didn’t want to alter anything, so he ended up giving me the second one as well,” she explained, showing her second ring on her other hand, which featured a unique toi et moi setting with two stones.
While details are scarce on the ring with the dual stones, worn on her right hand, it is adorned with both an emerald- and pear-shaped stone.
Mullen asked for her hand on New Year’s Eve, after dating for nearly seven years, with a 6-carat, oval-cut diamond that was not just a piece of jewelry but a symbol of their unity.
Crafted in collaboration with Wove, the ring sports an 18-karat yellow gold band, held by four prongs that secure the main stone, representing the union of the couple.
The main jewel is complimented by three petite diamonds on each side, symbolizing their combined family of six children.
“From the outset, this ring was intended to signify more than just carat size or look—it was about what it represented,” Bernie Dufrene, CEO of WoveMade.com, explained to People magazine in January.
“Travis was extremely deliberate in wanting every aspect of the ring to reflect his love for Gina and the family they have created together,” Dufrene added.
“The ring is absolutely perfect! The amount of thought he put into it is astonishing,” Kirschenheiter told the magazine enthusiastically.
Taking It Slow Toward the Aisle
As for her upcoming wedding, Kirschenheiter revealed on “WWHL” that she’s in no hurry to tie the knot.
“I’m not actively planning a wedding; I’m really taking my time,” she shared, noting that there’s no set date for the occasion yet.
“Marriage is a marathon. Why rush? Right now, I’m focused on building my business, investing, and saving for college. That’s where my priority lies. Once that’s settled, I plan to throw a big celebration,” she elaborated.
