Blake Lively was seen sporting her character’s least liked accessory from “A Simple Favor.”

This Tuesday, the 37-year-old actress made an appearance at a photocall for the upcoming sequel in London, dressed elegantly in a full Chanel ensemble.

She wore a large black and yellow wool cardigan over a black mini skirt, paired with sheer tights and knee-high boots with heels.

Lively was also seen with Chanel’s special edition black and gold Camera Bag, priced at $12,750. This accessory serves as a clever nod to the original 2018 movie.

In a memorable early scene of the film, Stephanie Smothers (played by Anna Kendrick) takes a picture of Emily Nelson (Blake Lively) for a school yearbook. Right after the snapshot, Nelson warns Smothers in a sudden change of tone, “erase it, or I’ll slap a f—king injunction on your yearbook.”

Lively’s outfit subtly hinted at her character in other ways too. She accessorized with multiple gold rings and lemon wedge earrings costing $66, echoing Nelson’s preferred drink ingredient.

To make sure her earrings stood out, Lively styled her blonde hair in a half-up beehive, adorned with a diamond-studded floral barrette.

Her thematic dressing began at a March photocall following the SXSW 2025 premiere of the eagerly awaited sequel. She donned a shimmering peach outfit and carried a Judith Leiber clutch shaped like a martini ($5,795), paying tribute to her character’s favorite cocktail.

In the original movie, Nelson describes her version of a “real martini”: a frozen glass and gin, a dash of vermouth spilled on the floor, and a crucial lemon twist, explicitly without ice. The clutch, completely adorned with various crystals and a crystal lemon slice on top, embodies this iconic drink.
