On Friday, the star graced the 2025 Cannes Film Festival red carpet in stunning fashion, donning an embroidered strapless dress for the premiere of “Eddington,” featuring notable actors such as Emma Stone, Austin Butler, Pedro Pascal, and Joaquin Phoenix.

At 49, Jolie opted for a custom Brunello Cucinelli gown, meticulously crafted from cashmere and silk and adorned with sequins.

The price tag of such an exquisite garment remains a mystery, especially given the Italian luxury brand’s reputation for sky-high prices and opulent materials.

Accentuating her ensemble, Jolie wore a set of Chopard jewelry, including a diamond necklace with a prominent pear-shaped diamond and coordinating earrings.

Throughout the event, Jolie was seen holding hands and sharing the spotlight with Marie Colomb and Finn Bennett, alongside Chopard co-president Caroline Scheufele. As this year’s chosen godmother of the Trophée Chopard Award, Jolie is set to present the award to these rising stars at the festival.

In her capacity as godmother, Jolie will provide mentorship to these burgeoning talents throughout the year, according to WWD. The last appearance of Jolie at this prestigious French film festival dates back to 2011, when she attended with then-partner Brad Pitt.
