While she usually prefers her hair down, Leonor of Spain has ventured into a new hairstyle by styling her blonde hair into an updo. She has managed to give the classic bun a modern twist with a few clever beauty tricks. Photo.

Joined by her parents, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, and her younger sister Infanta Sofia, Leonor of Spain attended the annual awards ceremony of the Princess of Asturias Foundation. For the event, she dazzled with an irresistible bun.

It was while presiding over the event that Princess Leonor appeared on October 25th in the city of Oviedo, in northern Spain. The heir to the throne was stunning with her ultra-elegant look, featuring a navy blue suit and a carefully curated beauty ensemble. The highlight of her beauty look was undoubtedly her hairstyle. Typically seen with her long, curly hair, Leonor of Spain experimented with a mid-height bun. This was no slicked-back hairdo or ballerina bun; the princess added a modern twist by opting for a tousled effect and deliberately leaving strands loose around her face. It’s also noticeable that her hair featured various shades of blonde, indicating a subtle balayage.

As for her makeup, the soon-to-be 19-year-old (on October 31, 2024) kept it light with a fresh and youthful look. We love her smooth, flawless complexion, enhanced by a touch of rosy blush that gave her a radiant glow. A taupe eyeshadow swept across her eyelids and curled lashes opened up her blue eyes. Finally, a soft pink gloss added a colorful touch to her exceptional beauty setup.
