The results for the BTS (Brevet de Technicien Supérieur) 2026 exams have been announced. Depending on their scores, some candidates may qualify for the oral supplementary exams.
The BTS (Brevet de Technicien Supérieur) is a vocational diploma prepared through continuous assessment during the course (CCF) and exams. The BTS also includes a mandatory internship and allows students to earn a professional diploma in two years. Following the common BTS exams held from May 18 to 21, the results are now being released.
When are the BTS results released?
Starting June 22, 2026, the BTS exam results are being published incrementally by academy and specialty across the nation. Candidates can now check their admission status for free via the official government results distribution platform or directly through their secure personal space on Cyclades, where their detailed score reports are gradually made available. It’s important to note that some academies may have different dates for these exam results.
How do the BTS supplementary sessions work?
All candidates who score a minimum of 10 out of 20 in the professional field and an overall average between 8 and 10 in the general field are automatically eligible to take the supplementary exams, which include two oral tests:
- An interview to reassess the candidate’s skills in general culture and expression, foreign languages, mathematics, physics-chemistry, applied sciences, etc. The student must choose the subject from their specialty with the highest coefficient for the interview.
- An interview to re-evaluate the candidate’s skills in the professional field.
For each interview, the score obtained can replace the average of the scores from all the corresponding field’s (general and professional) individual exams.
When do the BTS oral retakes occur?
The BTS oral supplementary exams are generally scheduled for early July 2026 (primarily between July 1 and July 10, 2026), shortly after the results of the first round for each specialty are announced. The exact timing depends entirely on your academy and BTS specialty. For example, the control exams for the Lyon academy are set for July 7, 2026.
