The celebrated pop artist is expanding her “Songs & Stories” segment from her talk show into a detailed four-part series on NBC, which will include performances and chats with other renowned musicians.

Premiere Details for ‘Songs & Stories with Kelly Clarkson’
The debut of “Songs & Stories” is set for 10 p.m. ET on NBC, starting Thursday, August 19, 2025. The series will continue with new episodes airing weekly on August 26, and September 2 and 9, at the same time.

To watch “Songs & Stories,” you’ll need access to NBC through satellite, cable, or a live TV streaming service.
For those without cable, DirecTV Stream provides a five-day free trial for new subscribers, with plans beginning at $49.99 per month after the trial. This service includes NBC as well as other major channels such as Bravo, E!, and ESPN.
If waiting an extra day isn’t an issue, Peacock will stream each episode the day after its air date. Although Peacock no longer offers a free trial, subscription plans start at $7.99 per month.

The Jonas Brothers will kick off the premiere episode, with subsequent shows featuring Gloria Estefan, Teddy Swims, and Lizzo.
“Music not only influenced our sounds but also our connections with people,” explained Nick Jonas in a preview of the series, which includes an acoustic rendition of “Sucker” by the Jonas Brothers.
The featured artists will join Clarkson and her band on stage to exchange stories and perform together.
