During the Seoul press conference for her latest film on Monday, Theron sported a bold outfit featuring a clear vinyl skirt layered over sheer stockings and a lace slip. This striking ensemble was selected from Tom Ford’s Fall 2026 collection, a line designed by Haider Ackermann for the brand, completed with opera-length black leather gloves.
A Stylish Arrival in Seoul
Theron took to Instagram to share images of her outfit, captioning the post with “Calypso finally leaves the island… and lands in Seoul ,” a nod to her character in the film.
The actress combined the clear skirt with a sharp blue striped button-down shirt and shiny black patent stiletto heels.
In his collection notes, Ackermann described his creations for the Fall 2026 collection as embodying “a language of seduction,” marked by its play on contrasts such as “Hard and soft. Sharp and cocooning.”
In the film, Theron brings to life the mythical sea nymph Calypso, starring opposite Matt Damon’s Odysseus. The movie, directed by Christopher Nolan, is a modern retelling of Homer’s classic epic and debuted in theaters on July 17.
A Daring Global Tour
Theron’s recent public appearances have showcased a series of daring and eye-catching outfits. Her wardrobe choices have included a slinky Louis Vuitton chainmail dress in Beijing, risqué Tom Ford tap shorts in Paris, and low-cut lace gowns designed by Dior and Givenchy’s Sarah Burton.
Throughout this global tour, Theron’s longtime stylist Leslie Fremar has carefully curated each look to subtly hint at her character’s traits.
At the London event, Theron made headlines with a light-hearted comment about Damon’s physique, joking that she had been “looking at his ass” after seeing him out of his usual costume during the shoot.
Adding to her glamorous appearances, Theron also shared a bold Instagram post where she posed wearing nothing but diamond earrings while preparing for the world premiere.
