Euphoria’s Makeup Artist Reveals Favorite Never-Before-Seen Sydney Sweeney Look!

The stunning makeup design from “Euphoria” that was never shown on TV has finally been revealed.

Donni Davy, the principal makeup artist for the HBO series, shared an unseen look of Cassie Howard’s makeup, which was originally planned but didn’t appear on the show.

The two-time Emmy award-winning artist posted the makeup look in celebration of her fourth Emmy nomination for her work, specifically for the episode “Kitty Likes To Dance” from Season 3.

“A whole bucket of my tears for this Cassie look that didn’t make it to the big screen,” Davy wrote in her post, expressing her fondness for this particular sparkling makeup as her favorite of the season.

The intended scene featured Cassie with icy opalescent eyelids, a perfectly sharp winged eyeliner, and tightly lined black liner along the upper and lower lashes of actress Sydney Sweeney, complemented with a dusting of clear crystals around the eyes.

Davy completed the look with radiant skin and a frosted lip outlined with a brownish-nude pencil.

At 28, Sweeney showed off the makeup while dressed in a rhinestone-embellished mesh halter catsuit with bronze sequin pasties, paired with chandelier earrings and her hair styled in voluminous curls. She ended the video with a playful wink.

Fans expressed their disappointment over the missing scene. One commented, “This has to be one of the best looks of the season — it’s soooo pretty.”

Another fan mentioned how the show influenced their makeup techniques, particularly praising the tightlining method introduced this season.

Davy herself responded enthusiastically, “Tight lining is the best!!” She hinted that her cosmetics brand, Half Magic, is set to launch waterline pencils soon, which are designed to be long-lasting.

The bold makeup is reflective of Cassie’s journey in the mature final season of the series. Davy described the Season 3 makeup as “very performative,” “kind of desperate, unapologetic,” and crafted to draw attention, in an interview with Allure.

Davy has been actively sharing Cassie’s entire transformation this season on social media, exploring the inspiration and techniques used for various looks, from her wedding party appearance to a “dreamy trashy” makeover in episode 4.

Although the cut scene won’t be winning any awards, the beloved makeup look Davy cherished most still managed to steal the spotlight.
