After a week, Mystic had returned to a healthy weight and was taking his medication “like a champion.” Despite his rough beginnings, Andrea remarked, “He was shy, but loving from day one.” Even the most withdrawn feline, it seems, can’t resist the siren call of a cozy home.

Andrea urges future adopters not to be discouraged by Mystic’s initial shyness. “He’ll be timid at first, but once he understands he’s safe, he’ll become a real bundle of love,” she assures. Mystic is, in her words, “a truly special cat.” She’s promised him that his forever family will need him just as much as he will need them—now that’s a promise written in catnip.
