Broadcasting live from New York, it’s the Season 52 premiere of “Saturday Night Live!”

The legendary comedy series kicks off its 52nd season tonight, September 26. The opening episode features host Jalen Brunson, the captain of the New York Knicks.

Brunson will be making his first appearance on “SNL,” celebrating the Knicks’ recent championship as the new season begins. The musical performance will be delivered by the internationally acclaimed girl group Katseye.

In a teaser for the episode, Brunson humorously tries to use his key to the city, received during the Knicks’ victory parade, to unlock the doors of Studio 8H.
