From Basketball Games to Wedding Bells

Just a few weeks after her wedding to celebrated forward Karl-Anthony Towns, Jordyn Woods has taken the momentum from her fortuitous New York Knicks accessory — which she showcased during their triumphant playoff journey — and transformed it into a wedding-themed collection for her brand, Woods by Jordyn.

Launched on a recent Friday, the collection features elegantly romantic lace mules, playful feathered open-toe boots, a structured top-handle purse, and notably, the iconic lucky bag reimagined in bridal white.

Launch Campaign Filled with Personal Touches

The launch was accompanied by a promotional campaign steeped in personal significance. It included a wedding day portrait of Woods clutching the Tux Clutch Mini (priced at $155) alongside her bespoke Danielle Frankel wedding gown; a joyful photo with her husband, both beaming widely; and an image of Woods perched atop a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

The inclusion of the motorcycle serves as a heartfelt tribute to Woods’ late father, John Woods, who was an avid Harley-Davidson rider. The Rev Boot, retailing at $385, is another homage within her collection to her father’s legacy.

“This campaign weaves many personal stories, including the Harley Davidson as a tribute to my dad,” Woods shared in an Instagram post. “These small details hold profound meanings. Though I wish he could witness this new chapter, I feel his spirit in every step leading to this moment.”

The Lucky Bag’s Cultural Impact

The vibrant orange version of the bag previously became a notable symbol during the Knicks’ 2026 postseason journey.

The clutch was only absent once during the playoffs — during Game 3 at Madison Square Garden. A strict no-bag policy was in effect due to President Donald Trump’s attendance, forcing Woods to leave it behind. That night, the Knicks’ 11-game winning streak was snapped with a loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

However, the Knicks rebounded, ultimately defeating the Spurs in Game 5 to secure their first NBA championship in over five decades. Subsequently, the famed bag was displayed at the Guggenheim Museum, where director Mariët Westermann heralded it as “the first ever clutch that actually became clutch.”

Celebrating a Year of New Beginnings

The launch of the bridal collection also coincides with the first anniversary of the revitalization of the Woods brand.

Reflecting on the past year, Woods noted, “It’s been a year of realizing that the most splendid things in life often come after overcoming challenges. Before I even considered marriage, I had to commit to being true to myself first.”
