During her second time hosting “Saturday Night Live” this past weekend, Lady Gaga humorously referenced her 2013 “SNL” performance with R. Kelly, where they sang “Do What U Want” together.

While fulfilling the roles of both host and musical guest, Lady Gaga took a moment in her opening monologue to reflect on her previous appearance on the show.
“It’s great to be back at ‘SNL.’ The last time I was here was in 2013 and, let me tell you, everything about that show has stood the test of time,” she quipped.
The duet with R. Kelly occurred years before he was arrested and found guilty of racketeering and sex trafficking.
“So, let’s just skip revisiting ‘SNL 2013, Lady Gaga featuring R. Kelly,’ right? No need to bring that up—it wouldn’t be good!”
Dressed in a sparkling flapper dress and coordinating fur, Gaga shifted the topic to her recent ventures into acting, highlighting her roles in “A Star Is Born” and “House Of Gucci.”
“These days, I’m focusing on my acting career. I’ve been very selective with my roles to ensure they really demonstrate my abilities as a dedicated actor. For instance, ‘Joker 2,’” she said, continuing with a light tone, “It turns out, people really liked it.”
“Joaquin [Phoenix] and I were even honored with a Razzie nomination, celebrating the worst of cinema. We secured the win for worst screen duo.”
“But hey, I enjoy collecting awards of any kind! And that Razzie just brings me closer to an EGORT, which is like an EGOT, only a bit more painful,” she joked.
Towards the end of her monologue, she expressed her enthusiasm for her return to “SNL,” promising, “I’ll act, I’ll sing… and no, I won’t do ‘Joker 3.’”
That evening, Gaga showcased tunes from her newly released seventh album, “Mayhem.”
This appearance marked her fifth time as a musical guest on “SNL.”
