Mariska Hargitay Stuns with Effortless Bob at Taylor Swift’s Wedding Using Ultimate Heat-Wave Hair Hack!

Prior to joining the wedding festivities of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on Friday, Mariska Hargitay sought the expertise of her trusted hairstylist, Chris McMillan, to craft the ideal hairstyle.

“She inspired the look by showing me a snapshot from her dress fitting for the wedding,” McMillan shared with Page Six Style.

“Her hair looked naturally beautiful. It was parted on the side, neatly tucked behind her ears, and it complemented her dress flawlessly,” he explained.

With temperatures reaching a scorching 98 degrees Fahrenheit on the day, McMillan was prepared with his favorite secret weapon for heat-defying hairstyles: The Glassy Smooth Blow Dry Spray.

McMillan applied the spray generously before blow-drying the “Law & Order” star’s bob, using his fingers to elevate the roots for added volume, then followed up with a T3 flat iron to perfect her soft, natural-looking waves.

“Bobs can easily become too traditional,” he commented.

“I always advise to comb it back and tuck it behind the ears when wet. When it’s about halfway dry, focus on blow-drying just the roots and let the ends naturally fall into place,” he suggested.

Hargitay’s fresh bob cut was inspired by her role in the Broadway show “Every Brilliant Thing,” for which McMillan said she “wanted a new look.”

“We had always discussed going for a bob,” he added. “The show’s hairdresser [Adir Abergel] crafted a bob wig first, and she absolutely loved it.”

While Abergel did the initial cut, McMillan has since been maintaining it—and enjoying every minute of it.
