Noah Wyle, currently enjoying dual Emmy nominations for his role in the second season of HBO Max’s popular show “The Pitt,” has parted ways with Verve, the talent agency he joined just over two years ago.

After securing his first Emmy Award last year for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, Wyle hasn’t rushed to affiliate himself with another agency, according to Page Six Hollywood.
This move marks yet another setback for Verve as it attempts to stabilize after recent internal conflicts among partners led to significant exits of both clients and staff.
Like many in the industry, Verve has faced challenges, particularly worsened by an unfortunate decision to sign a 10-year lease for a 53,000-square-foot space on Barton Avenue at the peak of the rental market in summer 2023. This space was previously occupied by Jeffrey Katzenberg’s Quibi, as previously reported.
Efforts to renegotiate the terms of that lease are ongoing at Verve.
Wyle’s recent comprehensive deal with Warner Bros. TV is a key reason he prefers not to join another agency immediately.
“He’s looking to maintain open communications and work collaboratively with various agencies,” a source mentioned.
Confusion surrounding the departure of Felicia Prinz, a former partner and head of the television literary department at Verve, also played a role in Wyle’s decision to leave. Prinz, who had been with Verve for 13 years, moved to Range Media Partners in May. The lack of transparency in communicating these changes to Wyle, a prominent client, led to dissatisfaction.
An agency insider disputed claims that Verve is floundering, pointing out that the 16-year-old company has been actively signing new clients and recruiting staff.
Verve responded officially stating, “Verve is proud of the unprecedented success we achieved together and wishes Noah Wyle continued success.”
