The 32-year-old member of boygenius landed in Italy and quickly stole the spotlight during a photo session for her new movie, “Primetime.”
It wasn’t solely her sleek Gucci outfit, consisting of a sharp blazer and a skirt that ended above her knees, that captured the audience’s attention. Her decision to showcase her natural leg hair on the red carpet also sparked acclaim.
“Seeing a beloved artist like Phoebe Bridgers confidently display her leg hair while wearing traditionally feminine attire as if it’s completely normal (which it absolutely should be!!) means so much to me,” one admirer posted online. Another supporter shared, “Phoebe in a feminine ensemble with her leg hair visible truly means a lot to me.”
Bridgers’ look was completed with Gucci sunglasses, Stuart Weitzman heels, and a Leo Black silver signet ring, not to mention a visible shin tattoo.
For the high-profile premiere of the film, Bridgers walked the red carpet in another striking ensemble: a completely sheer gown by Alexander McQueen.
The gray dress was elegantly adorned with floral embroidery on the skirt and fine pleats at the top. She wore briefs under the see-through fabric, and her look was enhanced with a Cartier ring and chandelier earrings.
In “Primetime,” Bridgers makes her film debut alongside Robert Pattinson, who portrays Chris Hansen in the A24 production that explores the rise and fall of the TV show “To Catch a Predator.” Bridgers plays Del, one of the decoys used in the sting operations on the NBC program.
At the event, Pattinson appeared in a white pinstriped suit, posing alongside his partner Suki Waterhouse, who opted for an intricate lacy outfit by Saint Laurent. The film also features performances by Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, and Anna Faris.
