Priyanka Chopra embraced thematic dressing for the promotion of her new movie, “The Bluff,” by donning an ensemble reminiscent of pirate attire created by Dior.
Her adventurous look featured a one-sided green cargo miniskirt paired with a navy-and-white silk blouse, highlighted by a large necktie.
The standout piece was definitely her pirate-inspired black wool hat.
Runway to Red Carpet
This outfit was first seen on Dior’s Spring 2026 runway in October, styled almost the same way. However, the model opted for flat loafers, contrasting Chopra’s choice of two-tone high heels.
In the film “The Bluff,” Chopra portrays a former pirate secluded on a distant Caribbean island who faces her violent history as her revenge-seeking ex-captain (played by Karl Urban) reappears. This plotline is showcased on Amazon Prime.
The movie is set to premiere on February 25.
Style Details
With minimal makeup, the 43-year-old styled her hair in a loose braid adorned with a satin ribbon, which she flaunted on her Instagram Stories before the event.
Margot Robbie has recently been at the forefront of method dressing on the red carpet, impressing audiences with her attire during the “Wuthering Heights” tour and “Barbie” promotions.
Other actors from recent projects like “Wicked,” “Wednesday,” and “Beetlejuice” have also embraced this trend of translating their on-screen roles into red carpet fashion statements.
It looks like “The Bluff” might be the next to follow this trend, although it remains to be seen if the pirate theme will be as successful on the red carpet as it is on screen.
