With a smile, she responded, “Yes, I did.”

Nevertheless, the spark didn’t last long as Stone revealed that they did not pursue a second date.

Stone, famed for her role in “Basic Instinct,” has been single since finalizing her divorce with Phil Bronstein in 2004, after a marriage of 16 years. Prior to Bronstein, she was married to Michael Greenburg from 1984 to 1987.

On the other hand, Nelly, whose full name is Cornell Iral Haynes Jr., tied the knot with Ashanti in December 2023. The couple, who initially dated from 2003 to 2013, rekindled their romance and welcomed their first child together in July 2024.

With her sons now grown and out of the house, Stone hinted at a readiness to step back into the dating scene, noting she’s started wearing traditional women’s underwear again.

Stone became a mother in 2000 with the adoption of her son Roan, now 25, during her marriage to Bronstein. She later adopted Laird, 20, and Quinn, 19, after their separation.

On a recent appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” she joked about her previous choice of undergarments, saying, “You do not wear lady panties when you have so many boys around. You’re just a dude.”

Stone expressed excitement about embracing her femininity once more, telling Meyers, “I’m back out. I’m a girl again. I feel really feminine again. I grew my hair back — it’s amazing.”

Despite often downplaying her femininity, Stone hasn’t hesitated to showcase her figure. In September 2024, she made headlines by donning a tiny bikini and recreating a famous lingerie scene from “Basic Instinct.” She continued to celebrate her body by going braless in a fashion photoshoot in June, openly discussing her acceptance of her physique in her 60s.
