Taylor Swift Rocks ’70s-Inspired Dress at 2026 Grammys Afterparty – The Full Story!

Though Taylor Swift was absent from the Grammys on Sunday, she still marked the occasion with flair.

The hitmaker known for “Life of a Showgirl” was spotted at an afterparty in a video that went viral on X, posted by a fan account. For her night out, Swift chose a familiar outfit.

According to Jade Robertson, co-founder of Little Lies, Swift donned the brand’s Sweet Jane dress in black crushed velvet for the event. Swift also owns this dress in green, having famously paired it with snake-themed thigh-high boots during a January 2024 outing in New York City.

Besides owning the Sweet Jane dress in two colors, Swift has also been seen wearing the brand’s Rooms on Fire slip, a midi-length dress with lace trim and a floral burnout pattern.

Even though Swift didn’t grace the Grammys red carpet this year, her fashion choices at the event always make news.

Last year, she dazzled in a shimmering red Vivienne Westwood minidress, complemented by a bold red lip and over 60 carats of Lorraine Schwartz rubies, including a bespoke leg chain with a “T” charm, playfully nodding to her now-fiancé, Travis Kelce.

In 2024, Swift won Album of the Year for “Midnights” dressed in a white Schiaparelli Haute Couture corset gown, accented with black opera gloves and an array of Lorraine Schwartz necklaces, including a watch choker set to — when else? — midnight.

Swift wasn’t up for any Grammys this year as her recent album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” was released after the 2026 eligibility period ended; it will qualify for the 2027 awards.

Currently, Swift holds 14 Grammy Awards. She is the first woman nominated for Album of the Year seven times and the first artist to win it four times.
