Taylor Swift continues to unveil her stylish “Life of a Showgirl” album visuals, and her latest reveal on Wednesday for the Target-exclusive “Crowd Is Your King” vinyl version is truly striking.
In the photo, the winner of 14 Grammy Awards is seen in profile, wearing a blush velvet bodysuit designed by The Blonds. The outfit features crystal trims and is highlighted by an exaggerated 3D jewel design at the front.
The outfit is a highlight of The Blonds’ Fall 2023 collection, which is richly adorned with jewels and draws partial inspiration from Elizabeth Taylor’s well-known love for luxurious jewelry.
“The collection is all about the celebration of colors, sparkle, and glamour. It pays homage to Elizabeth Taylor, who is one of our style muses, and captures the essence of falling in and out of love,” said designer David Blond before the showcase.
This choice of attire seems intentional; a track on “Showgirl” is titled after Taylor, and Swift has previously paid homage to the Hollywood icon’s romance with Richard Burton in her “Wildest Dreams” music video and the lyrics of “…Ready for It?”
“A showgirl knows to keep some of her most dazzling moves for the grand finale,” Swift noted in her Instagram post announcing the special Target vinyl.
The look is completed with crystal-studded Christian Louboutin heels and a showgirl-inspired feathered headpiece, adding to the overall glamour of Swift’s “Life of a Showgirl” theme.
Alongside her long-time stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer, Swift has handpicked several other pieces from The Blonds for her album photoshoot. These include a spectacular pink feathered ensemble from their Fall 2025 collection and a red crystallized bodysuit paired with flame-inspired opera gloves from the Fall 2024 show.
