Taylor Swift Shines in Elizabeth Taylor’s Iconic Opal Jewelry!

Taylor Swift reigns supreme when it comes to dropping hints.

On a recent outing in New York City, Swift subtly honored two significant influences in her life: Travis Kelce and Elizabeth Taylor. Accompanied by her father, Scott, she was seen dressed in a blue striped Staud midi dress priced at $325, accessorized with a vibrant yellow Dior Lady bag costing $9,500, and chunky Christian Louboutin sandals valued at $1,195.

Yet, it was her choice in accessories that truly captured attention.

The pop star paid homage to her fiancé Kelce by wearing jewelry that featured his birthstone, opal. She also honored her idol, Elizabeth Taylor, who famously adored opals and once penned a song about the actress titled “The Life of a Showgirl.” Swift’s accessories included a bracelet and a ring that once belonged to the iconic “Cleopatra” actress herself.

The jewelry set, known as the Darlene De Sedle suite, originally included two gold bracelets, a pair of matching drop earrings, and a ring. For her evening out, Swift chose to wear just one of the bracelets along with the ring.

First sold at an auction of Taylor’s estate at Christie’s in December 2011 for $6,000, the collection fetched $125,000 later through a sale on 1st Dibs.

The listing indicated that the jewelry was originally purchased from a jeweler back in 1999.

A similar version of one of the bracelets, featuring a lobster clasp instead of the toggle found on Swift’s piece, is currently available for purchase at a price of $32,530.

Swift also enhanced her look with additional sparkle by wearing Dana Rebecca diamond hoop earrings valued at $3,995 and a diamond horseshoe pendant necklace.

Since the end of March, Swift has maintained a relatively low profile, seemingly busy with last-minute wedding preparations for her upcoming nuptials in July.

Earlier in the month, Swift returned to New York City to join Kelce at his Central Park photoshoot for Tommy Hilfiger. The couple was later spotted entering Casa Cipriani for a date night, shielded by an umbrella.

With their wedding planned for July 3 in New York City, it’s a safe bet that Swift’s “something blue” might just include an opal jewel.
