The homage starts from the 1950s, featuring scenes from “Father of the Bride” and moving through to the 1958 classic “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” and even includes later footage of Elizabeth Taylor with her husband, Richard Burton.
Notably, Elizabeth Taylor’s famous jewelry collection is prominently featured throughout the video. This includes the stunning 33-carat diamond ring gifted by Burton, a highlight of her extensive collection.
The famed Taylor-Burton diamond, a 33.19-carat Asscher-cut gem previously known as the Krupp diamond, which fetched around $8.8 million at Christie’s, is also showcased. Another exquisite piece highlighted in the video is the Mike Todd Diamond Tiara, a piece from 1880 adorned with old mine-cut diamonds, which sold for over $4.2 million in 2011.

The profits from these auctions, conducted shortly after Taylor’s passing, were donated to The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, continuing her legacy of philanthropy.
