Taylor Swift’s Epic NY Night Following Knicks’ Historic Victory!

Taylor Swift graced the stage at the Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York City on Thursday, her voice raspy from enthusiastic cheering at a Knicks game the previous evening.

“My hoarse voice is due to two things I absolutely do not regret. Firstly, I had the incredible chance to attend a Knicks game last night,” the “Shake It Off” singer shared in a gravelly voice while accepting an award from presenter Steven Spielberg, just hours before his latest movie premiered.

“I cheered throughout the entire game,” she recounted. “After getting home, I thought, ‘I really need to stop shouting.’ But then I ended up getting captivated by the amazing performances tonight and kept on cheering. So, this is the voice you hear now.”

Swift didn’t bring up her late-night appearance at Zero Bond at around 1 a.m. with Este and Alana Haim, wearing a T-shirt that paid homage to Stevie Nicks. They were spotted leaving around 3 a.m.

The evening’s performances at the Songwriters event featured contemporary singer Sombr, who covered Swift’s 2020 hit “Cardigan” and her ballad “Dear John.” Sombr, too, had been at Zero Bond the night before.

Upon taking on the role of Swift’s presenter, Spielberg expressed his initial concerns, stating, “How could I possibly find something new to say about Taylor Swift? The sheer amount of accurate, inaccurate, and simply wild stories written about her is overwhelming!”

In a twist of irony, the “A.I. Artificial Intelligence” director consulted artificial intelligence to find out how many words have been written about Swift, as well as how many words she herself has penned. Surprisingly, the AI could not provide an answer. “She’s such a powerhouse that even AI can’t grasp the full scope of her accomplishments,” stated the “Disclosure Day” director.

The Songwriters Hall of Fame ceremony also paid tribute to other luminaries in the music industry, including Alanis Morissette, Kenny Loggins, Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, and the rock duo of Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons from Kiss, along with Walter Afanasieff, and songwriting partners Terry Britten and Graham Lyle.
