Taylor Swift returned to the scene that shaped her early career.

At the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame’s 56th anniversary gala on Monday night, the superstar celebrated a landmark induction wearing a burgundy velvet dress by Raisa Vanessa, printed with a seasonally fitting floral pattern.

She accessorized the strapless mini with a 65-carat Leviev diamond necklace and coordinating earrings, and stepped out in purple Jimmy Choo heels that featured delicate crystal ankle straps. Her look was finished with a soft pink lip and loosely curled hair pulled half up.

At 36, Swift becomes the youngest person ever inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. She’s part of the Class of 2026 alongside Lyle Lovett, Bruce Channel, Shawn Camp and Lee Thomas Miller.

Swift reflected on the honor by saying that from the moment she began writing as a child, she viewed Nashville as the ideal place to be — a community of storytellers where she could learn from the best. She noted that the city rewarded hard work, grit and imagination, and praised the writers who keep showing up to the craft even when inspiration is scarce. Being recognized by a city she loves, she added, means a great deal and she’s very thankful.

Although Swift is largely known today as a pop artist, she has been reconnecting with her country roots. Her original song for Toy Story 5, “I Knew It, I Knew You,” climbed to No. 1 on the U.S. country radio chart in September, marking her first chart-topper on that list in 13 years.
