Taylor Swift’s New Go-To Accessory

It seems Taylor Swift has adopted a new favorite accessory.

During her promotional activities for “Toy Story 5,” the pop icon has consistently showcased a vintage Victorian diamond horseshoe pendant from Sophie Jane Jewels.

At 36, Swift contributed an original track titled “I Knew It, I Knew You” to the Pixar movie, marking a return to her country music origins. The necklace is a tribute both to Jessie, the animated film’s cowgirl character, and to Swift’s affection for symbols of good fortune.

Swift debuted the necklace in April, combining it with a blue-and-white Staud dress and a yellow Lady Dior bag. This ensemble was quickly identified by fans as a nod to “Toy Story” before the film’s involvement was officially revealed.

The necklace made a comeback at the movie’s premiere in Los Angeles on June 9, paired with a colorful patchwork Erdem minidress.

Recent photos have captured Swift wearing the pendant at exclusive radio events aimed at celebrating her new single with radio programmers and music industry leaders.

In Nashville, the award-winning singer opted for a M’Rhen midi dress priced at $950, featuring an elegant folded bust detail.

During a Texas event, she wore an Escvdo crocheted striped maxi dress costing $1,350, styled in a vintage-inspired color scheme of cream, orange, and red that matches her “Midnights” album aesthetic.

Swift accessorized both outfits with a Cartier Love Unlimited bracelet valued at $9,400, and her Kindred Lubeck engagement ring. The ring’s old mine-cut diamond complements the 15 diamonds embedded within the horseshoe pendant.

The Story Behind the Pendant

The pendant has a rich history, originally crafted as a brooch in the late 1800s using 14-karat gold and platinum. Sophie Jane later transformed this approximately two-carat piece into a necklace, which was last listed for sale at $4,485 before Swift acquired it.

Horseshoes are not only a symbol of luck but also hold sentimental value in Swift’s relationship with her fiancé, Travis Kelce. The NFL star gifted her a diamond horseshoe necklace at the 2024 Kentucky Derby, inscribed with the words “Wishing you good luck.”

With “Toy Story 5” currently in cinemas, the theme of cowgirl chic might be winding down. However, a new life chapter is set to begin for Swift, as she is scheduled to wed Kelce this Friday in New York.
