‘The Challenge’ Star Tony Raines Arrested for DUI Post-Wedding!

Early Sunday morning in Louisiana, “The Challenge” celebrity Tony Raines was taken into custody on charges of drunk driving, as confirmed by Page Six.

According to the records available online, Raines faced charges including one count of driving under the influence, one count of reckless driving, and four counts of negligent injury.

The details leading to Raines’ arrest remain unclear, but TMZ reported that he was at a wedding in Hammond, Louisiana the previous evening.

The 36-year-old MTV star attended an afterparty at a nearby eatery where he reportedly engaged in a physical altercation with another partygoer on the dance floor, the news outlet stated.

Following the altercation, where an unidentified person allegedly struck Raines, he left the venue in haste and drove off. He was apprehended shortly after this incident.

Records indicate that Raines was processed at the jail around 4 a.m. and was later released on a $7,500 bond at approximately 8:57 p.m. He is currently awaiting his arraignment.

A mugshot obtained by Page Six shows Raines with a glossy-eyed expression, wearing a white button-up shirt. Additionally, he seems to have a fresh cut on his cheek, though it is not confirmed if it was a result of the incident at the afterparty.

Raines initially came into the limelight in 2014 when he joined the cast of “Real World: Skeletons” on MTV.

Subsequently, he participated in several seasons of “The Challenge,” notably winning the “Champs vs. Stars 2” season in 2018.

His most recent project was “Battle of the Eras,” which premiered last summer and concluded in January.
