Zendaya has once again redefined the pinnacle of red carpet fashion.
At the London premiere of “The Odyssey” this past Monday, she showcased a spectacular Schiaparelli dress fresh from the runway, complemented by makeup fitting for a goddess from ancient Greece.
The standout feature of her makeup was the Charlotte Tilbury Unreal Highlighter, a recent addition to her makeup artist Ernesto Casillas’s arsenal.

“My goal was to give Zendaya a bronzed, radiant look as if she were a sun-drenched Greek goddess,” Casillas explained in a press release, describing how the highlighter stick provided a “glossy, glazed finish” to her skin.
When developing this shimmering formula, Tilbury drew inspiration from another celebrity known for her red carpet looks, Jennifer Aniston. Tilbury describes it as the “epitome of Jen’s effortless, healthy-looking, sun-kissed glow,” on her Instagram.
It’s crafted for an easy “no-makeup makeup” appearance and is available in a universally appealing shade. Plus, with 92% of its ingredients being skincare-based—including hyaluronic acid and vitamin C—it’s essentially “skincare in a stick,” according to the brand.
Casillas didn’t stop with just the highlighter; he also used three shades of the Exagger-Eyes Easy Eyeshadow Sticks—Nude Sculpt, Mink Sculpt, and Satin Diamonds—to mirror the divine aura of Zendaya’s outfit.

As Casillas noted on Instagram, Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach, aimed for a look that was both classical Grecian and modern.
With the promotional tour for Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of the Homer epic just starting, it looks like Zendaya and her beauty team are set for an exciting journey of their own.
