The Most Ugly Child – Lungs
Today we feature ‘The Most Ugly Child’ for the first time with ‘Lungs’. The group are a 6 piece, centred around the talented songwriting partnership of Daniel Wright and Stevie-Leigh Goodison and released their debut album ‘Copper and Lace’ at the back end of February.
As you can see from the great Townes van Zandt cover above (a live favourite which features on the album), The Most Ugly Child are energetic, with a real captivating quality that will have you on your feet within moments. Having listened to ‘Copper and Lace’, it’s clear that the group are quite unique on the UK scene, with a timeless quality that really shines through in their music.
