Brandy Clark to release You’re Drunk – Lesley Hastings

News has just broken that Brandy Clark’s next single will be released on Friday 14th July, and it’s a previously unrecorded track that has been getting a fantastic reception when played at recent concerts. I have been fortunate enough to hear ” You’re Drunk” live a couple of times now, and it is a wonderfully catchy song with the witty lyrics we have learned to expect from Brandy. Co written with her frequent collaborators Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne it has a bit of a jazzy vibe ( well the live version did, let’s see what the produced one sounds like!) and revolves around a dysfunctional relationship which needs a stop putting to it! I’ll leave you to guess the rest, it will be available to download from all the usual outlets….let us know what you think!
