Shania Twain to Play First UK Show in 13-Years – Laura K.
It’s the news that UK Shania Twain fans have been waiting for, for over a decade and now finally it is happening. Canadian country music legend Shania Twain is returning to the UK for the first time in 13 long years.
The 51-year-old will make her only UK appearance this year at the BBC Radio 2’s Festival In A Day on September 10th at Hyde Park, London.
Speaking to BBC Radio 2 host Chris Evans about her eagerly anticipated return to the British stage, Shania said; “It’s been a long time. I’m so excited about it.”
She also confirmed that she will premiere some new songs off her upcoming album which is also due for release this September; “I’ll play a couple of new songs but I will definitely stick primarily to the hits”.
Tickets for the Radio 2 Festival went on sale earlier today!
