The song, which features Emily Grimble on guest vocals, speaks about heartache and loss. Hannah  shared the following about the song on social media – “I wrote this song with my friend Sarah Sharp during a really difficult time in my life and it took me months before I could sing it without crying. For me, It was a really important addition to ‘Shaken’ and I’m really grateful for this song…”

What stands out about ‘Morning Cocktail’ is the intensity and emotion that Hannah brings to the song – while the fantastic instrumental break in the middle will certainly appeal to all real country fans.
