Belles and Gals Live Spotlight #2 – Lucy Grubb

This weekend we’re hosting our ‘Belles and Gals’ showcase event at the Water Rats in London. Here is the first of four ‘spotlight’ pieces, featuring each of the artists who are performing.

In today’s piece we’re spotlighting Lucy Grubb! Lucy came to our attention in 2017 when we first heard her debut E.P. ’18 Miles’. The record obviously made quite an impression, as just a few short months later, it was awarded our E.P. of the year award! Check out the official video below:

Now Lucy is on the verge of releasing her new E.P. and Belles and Gals are delighted to be sponsoring the launch party later this month.

 

Lucy would describe her music as modern Americana with Country undertones and has influences which include Johnny Cash, Paul Simon and John Mayer.
