Danielle Bradbery Shares ‘Shallow’ Cover Featuring Parker McCollum

Fast rising Country starlet Danielle Bradbery has one of the most exciting vocals the genre has to offer and is well known for putting her stunning, unique spin on covers of some of today’s most popular hits. She ended 2018 with the EP release of ‘Yours Truly: 2018’ which saw her performing gorgeous renditions of tracks such as Ariana Grande’s ‘God Is A Woman’ and Post Malone’s ‘Psycho’.

Now, the vocal powerhouse is back with her breathtaking rendition of the Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s chart smash ‘Shallow’ taken from the Box-Office record maker ‘A Star Is Born’. The new release also features fellow rising Country artist, Parker McCollum.

The ACM New Female Vocalist of the Year was instantly inspired by the iconic movie and she immediately wanted to put her own magical spin on the Oscar winning single. And the results are nothing short of spell bounding.

Speaking about her choice to release a cover of ‘Shallow’, Danielle Bradbery says:  “When I heard ‘Shallow’ from A Star is Born for the first time, I was blown away. The lyrics, arrangement, Gaga’s voice and the emotion…I was just speechless,” shares Bradbery. “Yet as a singer, I couldn’t wait to find a partner to record this song with.”

While the choice to invite Parker McCollum to perform the song with her came about after the Texas native was back home in Houston last December and took some time out to attend one of McCollum’s concerts. Seeing the crowd’s reaction and response to her fellow Texans’ performance, Bradbery instantly felt that he was the right person to collaborate with on this exciting project.

The end result of their genius collab is this gorgeous version of ‘Shallow’ which was produced in home of Country Music; Nashville by renowned producer Dann Huff. You can listen to their absolutely stunning take on the mammoth smash-hit, here:
