Jaz Beeson – ‘Little Fish’ Out Tomorrow!

Tomorrow sees the release of ‘Little Fish’ from Jaz Beeson! The song tells the tale of her move to London to pursue her dreams as a songwriter – it’s a real engaging tune which will strike a chord with any artist who has made that same move, whether to London, Texas or Nashville.

I caught up with Jaz to have a chat about the song and her career!

Hi Jaz, Congratulations on the release of your new single ‘Little Fish’ – which is released tomorrow! Can you tell us how the song came to life?
Thank you! I’m so excited for everyone to hear it. Little Fish originally came to me as I made the decision to move to London for university. With such a huge change, moving from a small town to the big city, I felt suddenly very small – yet so determined to succeed. I feel it definitely came to life in the studio, as I recorded everything myself and had a great time capturing the core emotion of the song.

And what was it about this song in particular that stood out as your next release?
Little Fish has always meant a lot to me, from the first time I played it at a show right up until today, so I feel the song deserves to be out there in the world officially.

If someone is hearing you for the first time today, how would you describe your sound?
My sound is definitely country at its heart, with elements of pop and americana in there too. I love an emotion-packed lyric and take inspiration from great artists such as Kacey Musgraves and Jade Bird.

To finish, tell our readers where they can find you on social media!
I’m on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as @jazbeesonmusic, and you can find Little Fish on all music streaming services from Friday 26th April! I hope you like it.
