Belles and Gals Ambassador Lucy Grubb to appear at C2C 2020!

One of the absolute highlights of the C2C announcements for us at Belles and Gals was the fact that Lucy Grubb will be appearing at the festival. Lucy is an ambassador for Belles and Gals, and is an artist who has gone from strength to strength in the last two/three years. She grabbed our attention with the release of ’18 Miles’ her debut EP – it impressed us so much it won our ‘EP of the Year’ at the BGA’s (the forerunner to the UK Country Music Spotlight Awards). Lucy followed this up with the incredible ‘Dear Walter’ EP and she is making great waves in the industry – a peformance at the UK Americana Fest in January this year preceding C2C. Having attended a headline show in Norwich at the end of last year, there is some incredible new music in the works too – it’s going to be a big year for the Noorwich based singer.

Lucy will be appearing on Saturday morning at 11am on the Garden Stage and at 2.20pm Sunday afternoon on the Icon Stage.

I spoke to Lucy this week and asked her how she is feeling about playing this year:

‘I am over the moon to be playing C2C this year, it’s an absolute dream. I can’t wait to experience the whole weekend and play these shows with my band.’
