Alexis Wilkins Releases Debut Single ‘Holdin’ On’

As people around the world spend more time at home in lockdown, quarantine or self-isolation due to the Coronavirus (Covid -19) global pandemic now seems like the perfect time to discover new artists that will go on to become some of our favorite artists going forward.

And one of those performers who needs to be on your radar right now is Nashville based singer/songwriter Alexis Wilkins who shared her storming debut single ‘Holdin’ On’, this past Friday, March 27th. The gorgeous track was penned by Alexis to remind us all of what is truly important during this time of uncertainty, and to also show us the importance to hold on to what we deem most dear to us…family, friends, etc.

The multi-talented artist and philanthropist is also working with Musicians on Call, a charity that she has long supported, and in a further heartwarming good deed she will be donating all proceeds from the release of this song to the charity.

Speaking about the release of her debut single, Alexis Wilkins says: “‘Holdin’ On’ is a song about how, in this crazy world, sometimes the best thing to hold on to is each other. My team and I had planned on releasing a full batch of songs starting in April, but with everything going on in the world right now, I thought that we could all just use a little something to bring us together.”

The heartfelt and inspirational song was co-written by Alexis and hit songwriter and close friend Mitch Rossell, and together they deliver a poignant lyrical reminder that whatever happens in life we always have that support of loved ones in our lives to turn to in times of need.
