Tanya Tucker Announces Fundraising Live Album

As we are all aware, one consequence of the current global pandemic is that live music venues which have been forced to close their doors are fighting for survival . And there is no discrimination, with even the legendary Troubadour in Los Angeles facing the prospect of closure it seems.
Another legend, the incredible Tanya Tucker, has just announced the release of a live album which will raise funds to help the venue hopefully stay afloat for future generations of musicians and fans and which captures a concert she played there last October. Suitably titled ” Live From The Troubadour” its release date of October 16th ( via Fantasy Records) coincides with the anniversary of the show with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the club….preorder/presave here https://found.ee/TTLiveFromTheTroubadour
The track-listing naturally includes a selection of songs from Tanya’s latest and Grammy Award- winning album, 2019’s ” Bring My Flowers Now”, alongside fan favourites from her near 50-year old back catalogue such as ” Delta Dawn” and ” Strong Enough To Bend”…..plus there’s some incredible covers included with Tanya recently sharing a ” red hot” medley of Bruce Springsteen’s ” I’m On Fire” and Johnny Cash’s ” Ring Of Fire” ahead of the album release .

Speaking about the project, Tanya says ” Even though the money stops, the bills don’t. We all know that. These venues out there are just sitting there doing nothing. Places like the legendary Troubadour, where some of the greatest artists in the world have performed, need help or those places may never come back at all…..It just makes sense to give back to the Troubadour with this album and hopefully help out.”
