Lady A Announce Details of Upcoming Album “What A Song Can Do”

Lady A have shared details behind the full release of their eighth studio album “What A Song Can Do” out on October 22nd via Big Machine. Working again with producer Dann Huff, the fourteen tracks reinvigorate the band’s signature sound they have become known for over the past decade, including of course their wonderful harmonies which are evident on the latest track to be made available, the beautiful acoustic love song “Where Would I Be”, watch the lyric video here

As you can see from the track listing below, there’s some stellar songwriters involved alongside band members Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott, and the album includes the band’s first true collaboration “Friends Don’t Let Friends“. Additionally, Haywood takes lead vocals for the first time on his solo write “Working On This Love” which he wrote for his wife Kelli. And of course you’ll spot the inclusion of their fun-loving lead single “Like A Lady” which stresses the importance self-acceptance and female empowerment. 
Talking about the upcoming release, the say “As we set out to make this record, we can’t help but look back and see how much this past year has transformed us. The good and the bad ; this record comes straight from the most vulnerable places in our hearts and has felt like a love letter to our fans from the very start“.

The band are about to embark on their 34 city “What A Song Can Do” tour stateside, with guests Carly Pearce, Tenille Arts and Niko Moon, a portion of the ticket sales going towards LadyAID, the group’s philanthropic fund which you can read more about here
