On Monday, the Kansas City Chiefs star was seen in New York City, specifically around Central Park, participating in a photoshoot for the renowned fashion label.
Kelce chose a striking outfit for the occasion, donning a red, white, and blue plaid button-down shirt over a plain white crewneck T-shirt, complemented by a dark navy jacket.
He completed his ensemble with a pair of khaki trousers and sported a gold watch, which was visible as he casually played with a football during the shoot.
Preparation at the Plaza Hotel
Prior to the photoshoot, Kelce prepared at the Plaza Hotel, receiving assistance from his beauty team as well as his close entourage.
Taylor Swift, Kelce’s fiancée, was seen entering the Plaza discreetly under a black umbrella to avoid the attention of photographers.
Meanwhile, Gigi Hadid, a close friend of Swift and a collaborator with Tommy Hilfiger, was spotted showcasing her freshly dyed blonde hair while wearing a vivid red cardigan.
Attention to detail was crucial, particularly with Kelce’s hairstyle. He walked into the hotel sporting a longer hairstyle and beard but emerged with a neater, freshly shaved look.
Vince Garcia, Kelce’s hairstylist, took to social media the next morning to post a photo of his hairstyling tools, hinting at a second day of shooting with a post captioned “Day 2” and tagged at Central Park in New York.
Tommy Hilfiger’s New Global Ambassador
Last month, Tommy Hilfiger announced Travis Kelce as their new global brand ambassador and creative collaborator.
According to a press release from the brand, Kelce will feature in “a series of campaigns driven by unyielding optimism, boundless curiosity, and the spirit of dreaming big” slated for this fall. He is also set to design a capsule collection that reinterprets classic Tommy Hilfiger designs with a modern twist, expected to launch next spring.
In the press release, Kelce expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, saying, “Working with Tommy to add my personal touch to timeless designs in a way that feels fresh and original today is a dream come true.”
It remains unclear whether the outfits Kelce wore during the first day of the photoshoot in New York were his own designs or selections from the upcoming general Tommy Hilfiger collection.
