During Milan Fashion Week on Thursday, “Gossip Girl” alumni Leighton Meester and Kelly Rutherford were spotted sharing the front row at the Max Mara Spring 2027 fashion show.

In a nod to their iconic roles as Blair Waldorf and Lily van der Woodsen, both actresses were impeccably dressed in chic, sophisticated attire.

At 40, Meester was stylish in a crisp white blouse paired with a green sequined midi skirt, and Rutherford, 57, opted for an elegant black cashmere coat buttoned to the top. True to their Upper East Side roots, both wore dark sunglasses and had their hair styled in elegant updos.

Rutherford, speaking with Page Six Style back in April, expressed her fashion philosophy: “I've always leaned towards minimalism, but I do appreciate beautiful things,” she said, reflecting on how her acting career has allowed her to indulge in fashion. “It’s like getting to play dress-up.”

Although Meester and Rutherford were last seen together at an Elie Saab show the previous spring, opportunities for public reunions are infrequent due to their busy schedules.

Rutherford, a self-proclaimed fashion enthusiast, has emerged as a significant Instagram influencer lately. She regularly posts glamorous elevator selfies, often featuring her luxurious outfits and numerous Birkin bags.

She even shared how she contributed personally to her character’s wardrobe on “Gossip Girl,” saying, “Back when we started the show, platforms like The RealReal or Vestiaire didn’t exist. It was hard to find certain items widely, so I would sometimes bring my own pieces to the set.”
