The award-winning singer took to Instagram on Wednesday to showcase the new collection, modeling a “Loverboy” tank top under a sleek leather jacket.
The highlight, however, was Carey’s extravagant diamond necklace. Crafted by Leviev, this show-stopping piece features 44.71 carats of pear-shaped natural diamonds elegantly set in 18-karat white gold. The centerpiece of this necklace is a jaw-dropping 14-carat pendant.
This remarkable necklace comes with a hefty price tag of $1,550,000, as confirmed by the jeweler to Page Six Style.
Leviev Jewelry Steals the Spotlight
This week has been particularly eventful for Leviev. During the MTV VMAs held on Sunday, Madonna received her Artist of the Year award wearing a dazzling $2.8 million Leviev necklace, which boasted over 115 carats of diamonds. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift was honored with the inaugural Artist Director Award, sporting ‘The Royale’ – a unique Leviev ring that totals more than 10 carats.
Describing Swift’s exclusive ring, brand manager Yakov Mazler told Page Six Style, “The Royale is a custom, one-of-a-kind piece adorned with six central stones of varied shapes including pear, heart, lozenge, Ashoka, marquise, and oval.”
Alongside her eye-catching necklace, Carey paired her ensemble with her cherished Van Cleef & Arpels butterfly ring—a piece so dear to her that she seldom takes it off, even while cooking. She completed her look with large diamond drop earrings and a vibrant, glossy pink lipstick.
Carey explained to Naomi Campbell during the “No Filter With Naomi” podcast in 2020, “I never take it off. Van Cleef & Arpels gifted it to me years ago… I wore it throughout my pregnancy, and even when my hands were swollen.”
