Cristiano Ronaldo and his long-term partner Georgina Rodríguez may have opted for a modest wedding ceremony in their own living room in Portugal, yet their attire was anything but ordinary.
The pair, celebrating a decade since their first encounter at a Gucci store in Madrid where Rodríguez was employed, and their five children, donned elegant outfits by Gucci for the occasion.
The simplicity stopped at their clothing, however, as the bride’s choice of jewelry was far from subdued. She adorned herself with over 250 carats of diamonds from Chopard, a detail confirmed by Page Six Style.
Exquisite Bridal Jewelry
The highlight of Rodríguez’s wedding ensemble was the Chopard Garden of Kalahari necklace. This piece features a standout 50-carat D-flawless brilliant-cut diamond and is complemented by over 146 carats of additional diamonds.
Beyoncé was seen wearing this necklace at the 2025 Met Gala, though she chose not to include the three detachable “petal” pendants.
On her wedding day, Rodríguez repurposed two of these pendants as earrings: one with a 25-carat pear-shaped diamond and another with a 26-carat heart-shaped diamond. Altogether, including the necklace and three pendants, the set is valued at approximately $50 million.
Rodríguez also exchanged vows while wearing her massive engagement ring, which specialists estimate could be valued at $5 million and might weigh over 30 carats.
Additional Sparkling Accents
During a photo session for Vogue, Rodríguez, aged 32, showcased a bracelet set with two large emerald-cut diamonds, 21 and 14.7 carats respectively, framed by an additional 13.1 carats of diamonds.
She complemented this with a ring featuring a 20-carat cushion-cut diamond surrounded by 6.9 carats of smaller diamonds.
The pieces—necklace, earrings, bracelet—are all part of the Garden of Kalahari series, crafted from the Queen of Kalahari diamond. This 342-carat gemstone was meticulously divided into 23 distinct diamonds over a year.
Rodríguez also chose a ring from the Haute Joaillerie collection, which is embellished with 5.7 carats of pear-cut and marquise-cut diamonds.
For their wedding bands, the couple selected simple gold rings that matched the subdued elegance of their private ceremony.
Intimate Wedding Setting
“We decided to hold it in our living room, where we share meals and live out our daily lives,” Rodríguez explained to Vogue. “I hope that in 30 years, our children will look at this spot and remember it as where something magical happened—their parents’ wedding vows.”
“I desired something personal, just for us and our kids, at home,” she continued. “Because we can easily access castles, estates, islands, horses, cars every day. But an intimate celebration—that’s something rare for us.”
Rodríguez mentioned plans for a larger, more lavish wedding celebration in the future, hinting at a potentially extravagant wedding dress to come.
