At the New York City premiere of her latest movie, “Echo Valley,” on Wednesday, Sydney Sweeney dazzled attendees by showing up in a striking red ballgown, embodying the essence of a fairy-tale princess.
The 27-year-old actress was styled by Molly Dickson and turned heads in a custom Vera Wang creation. The dress featured a bold, fiery red color, a hand-draped peplum at the waist, and a romantic sweetheart neckline.
Complementing her glamorous dress, Sweeney chose luxurious diamond stud earrings from Kwiat Diamonds and styled her blonde hair in loose waves, which perfectly balanced the grandeur of her voluminous dress.
Continuing the Red Motif
For the post-premiere celebration at Lincoln Ristorante on the Upper West Side, Sweeney remained faithful to the red theme. She arrived wearing a vivid red, off-the-shoulder midi dress paired with coordinating red pumps.
In “Echo Valley,” Sweeney portrays Claire, a troubled addict who seeks assistance from her mother, Kate, played by Julianne Moore.
Earlier that day, the acclaimed “Euphoria” actress had showcased her versatile fashion sense with three different outfits during the press tour for the film. She started the day in a nautical-inspired Coperni vest and white miniskirt from the brand’s fall 2025 collection. Later, she switched into a chic brown silk Oscar de la Renta blouse with a pussy bow and matching trousers featuring a windowpane design.
Before making her red carpet appearance, she switched up her style once more, opting for a bold, vintage Jean Paul Gaultier blazer and tie from 1995, which she sported as a minidress without pants.
Navigating Personal Changes
Just last week, Sweeney spoke about her recent breakup with former fiancé Jonathan Davino, whom she had been with for six years until their split in March.
In her May 31 interview with the Sunday Times, Sweeney confirmed her single status and mentioned that she had called off her wedding plans.
“I’m learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends. And I’m loving it,” she shared during the interview.
Moreover, she’s catching public attention with a unique venture: partnering with Dr. Squatch to market bars of soap infused with her own bath water.
Indeed, it’s a new chapter marked by both style and independence for Sweeney.
