Like many of us, Lindsay Lohan has some teenage choices she might rethink looking back.

The well-known actress has spent enough years in the limelight to critique her fashion choices from the early 2000s with some hindsight.

On a recent episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Fallon presented Lohan, now 39, with an old photograph from the 2003 “Freaky Friday” premiere alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, prompting a less-than-pleased reaction from Lohan regarding her fashion choice at the event.

“Back in my teenage years, I definitely overdid it with the black eyeliner,” she commented on the image, which showed her in a bold smokey eye, flowing blonde bangs, and a shiny gold dress.

“No, you look cool,” Fallon reassured her.

Lohan also opened up about her reasons for deciding to take part in the sequel, “Freakier Friday,” happening 22 years after the first movie’s release.

She mentioned that Jamie Lee Curtis had been frequently questioned about a sequel during her press tour for “Halloween.” “And then people started asking me too,” Lohan said, with Fallon interjecting humorously, “I think I asked you about it as well.”

Lohan explained, “It suddenly seemed feasible for me to play a very young mother of a teenager, so the timing worked out perfectly.”

On the same Monday, Lohan caught the public’s eye with two distinct outfits that paid tribute to her roles in another beloved movie, “The Parent Trap.”

Dressed by Andrew Mukamal, Lohan celebrated the characters Annie James and Hallie Parker with ensembles that echoed their distinct styles from the 1998 movie.

Her first ensemble featured a yellow tartan jacket and skirt set by Balmain, reflecting the refined style of Annie, while a colorful embroidered mini dress by Roberto Cavalli mirrored a look typical of Californian Hallie.

At the New York City premiere of “Freakier Friday” that evening, she dazzled in a Jacquemus tutu dress, channeling Carrie Bradshaw from “Sex and the City,” and proved she’s mastered the art of Y2K fashion trends this time around.
