“This will strengthen your connection with your partner.”
Are you more of a morning person or a night owl? Everyone has their preferences, but you might be interested to know that a relationship expert has identified a particular time of day that is optimal for intimacy. Conversely, there are certain times that might be less ideal for making love.
According to the expert, Agnieszka Joanna Kozlowska, who spoke with The Sun, “building sexual excitement throughout the day is crucial, whether it’s through communication with your partner, playful interactions, or simply by staying in tune with your own desires, to naturally lead into intimacy when the time is right.” And that right time, according to her, is not at bedtime. “Eating too much or too late can leave you tired or uncomfortable from digestion, which can directly impact your mood and energy levels, she explains. Heavy and rich meals can cause discomfort that may interfere with intimacy. Plus, fatty foods can lead to bloating, which might affect your self-confidence.” Therefore, it’s best to avoid late-night cuddles or opt for a light dinner.
So, when are we truly at our best for making love? According to Agnieszka Joanna Kozlowska, morning sex should be prioritized. Engaging in love-making in the morning, “especially around 7:30 AM, is an excellent way to start the day as your energy and libido are at their peak, thanks to the highest levels of testosterone and estrogen hormones,” she notes. Not to mention, making love is a “natural stress reliever that will leave you feeling positive for the rest of the day.”
All in all, while harmony in the bedroom is essential, timing appears to be just as important. Opt for the mornings for intimate moments, when your bodies and minds are still fresh and receptive. Avoid the post-dinner evening discomforts to maintain a fulfilling sex life. After all, choosing the right moment could be the key to a harmonious and satisfying relationship.
