Cardi B Announces Third Child’s Name, Criticizes Offset for Being an Absent Dad

Cardi B openly disclosed the name of her and Offset’s third child as she criticized him for his lack of presence as a father.

During a discussion on X, the social media platform, Cardi B expressed, “[Offset] has only seen Blossom about five times,” revealing their child’s name while discussing issues with her soon-to-be ex-husband.

She added, “I’ve been trying to cover for you… I told you that you could visit the kids at my home. I want our daughter to experience her father’s love. But he hasn’t visited his children since March.”

The artist, who gave birth to Blossom in September, stated that while Offset has the freedom to visit their children whenever he chooses, he has failed to show up three times.

Cardi B initially teased her baby’s name through a subtle hint using flower emojis in her post when Blossom was born.

She shared a series of photos from the hospital with her newborn daughter with the caption, “The prettiest lil thing 9/7/24 .”

Alongside Blossom, Cardi B and Offset, a member of Migos, have two other children, Kulture, aged 6, and Wave, aged 3, who were born in 2018 and 2021 respectively.

The couple has experienced several breakups and reconciliations since their marriage in September 2017.

Cardi B most recently sought a divorce in July and announced her pregnancy the next day.

She shared photos from a maternity shoot in August, stating, “With every ending comes a new beginning,” and mentioned that her children have given her “renewed power.”

At 31, the Grammy-winning artist expressed, “Navigating life’s challenges is simpler when you’re passive, but you, your brother, and your sister have shown me why it’s worth fighting through!”

Despite their issues, Cardi and Offset, 32, came together for their son’s birthday celebration the subsequent month.

Upon the arrival of their third child on September 7, Cardi included images of Offset in the hospital on her social media.

She described the newborn as “The prettiest little thing,” in a post on September 12, featuring Offset looking at the baby, flanked by Kulture and Wave.

Offset, who also has three other children from previous relationships — Jordan, 14, Kody, 9, and Kalea, 9 — has been praised by Cardi in the past for her role as a stepmother. In an interview with Essence in April 2022, he commended her, saying, “It’s a blessing to have a wife who’s open and treats them as if they’re her own kids. It’s a beautiful thing that we don’t have those issues.”

Recently, Cardi B was seen showing affection to rumored boyfriend Stefon Diggs. This comes amidst a controversy involving Diggs, who was caught on video distributing a pink substance to several women. According to the Daily Mail, Cardi B is reportedly upset at her new boyfriend, calling him a “scumbag” for his actions.
