Denise Richards Receives Unexpected Support from Charlie Sheen for Her New Show

Sheen has been encouraging since the inception of Richards’ new Bravo show, titled “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things.”
In an interview for her cover story in People magazine, Richards discussed Sheen’s reaction to the show’s trailer.
“He sent me a really kind and positive text,” remembered Richards, a former star of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” She added, “I was actually really surprised. It meant a lot to me.”
Richards, who was married to Sheen from 2002 to 2006, openly admitted in the February-released trailer that they made mistakes raising their daughters.
Richards and Sheen share two daughters, Sami, 20, and Lola, 19, who both appear on the show along with Richards’ 13-year-old daughter Eloise, whom she shares with her current husband, Aaron Phypers.
Although Sheen, 59, does not feature on the show, his ex-wife Brooke Mueller and their teenage sons make several appearances.
“Charlie is always welcome at holiday dinners. The door is always open for Brooke and the boys too,” Richards expressed. She emphasized her inclusive approach: “I’m all about ‘the more the merrier.’ I want everyone to get along and for there to be peace.”
Richards spoke about a period when she took in Sheen and Mueller’s sons, Bob and Max, now 15, during Mueller’s battle with substance abuse issues.
“I’m grateful we were able to help them during that time,” she shared with People.
During a September 2024 interview on the “Hollywood Raw” podcast, Mueller updated listeners on her co-parenting situation with Sheen, describing it as “fantastic.”
“My kids live with me full-time, but Charlie and I are neighbors,” Mueller said. “We talk daily, sometimes multiple times a day. He comes over a lot. We go over there.”
Sheen and Mueller were married from 2008 to 2011. Sheen, who has had his own struggles with substance abuse, achieved sobriety in 2017.
The series “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things” is set to debut on Bravo on March 4.
